甘いシトラスとプラムやすぐりなどに代表されるレッドフルーツのフレーバーが特徴。
その濃密な甘みは、まるでブランデー漬けしたフルーツのようです。

    World renowned as one of Kenya's most consistently delicious coffees, we're extremely excited to be able to serve this AA selection of Gatomboya this year.

    The Gatomboya factory is joined by a small, elite league of no-joke factories - Karatina, Karindundu and Gaturiri - that together make up the Barichu Coffee Farmers Cooperative Society. A model cooperative, Barichu is consistently awarded for producing the highest percentage of top grade coffees among Nyeri cooperatives and it comes as no surprise.

    Barichu is lauded for returning a staggering 95% of profits back to their farmers (the Kenyan average is 82%). This pride and investment in their farmers translate to the production of outstanding coffees, year after year.

    Not far from Karatina town in Kenya’s Nyeri county, the Gatomboya factory receives and processes coffee from member smallholder farmers who each tend to approximately 250 trees on their modest half-acre plots.
